The citrus juice concentrate manufacturer and exporter Matragos S.A. Concentrate Juice has its headquarters in Koutsopodi, Argos Peloponnese, in a privately owned industrial site of 5.000 m2 in a plot of a total of 50,000 m2.

Stages of Production of our Juice Concentrates:

The citrus fruit, fresh after having been harvested from the fields, arrives by truck directly to the factory premises for sorting and juicing.

The fruit is transported through conveyor belts in a current of hot water, all the while being washed. In this point of the process the sorting for removal of any blemished fruit takes place.

After extracting the essential oils from the outer surface of the fruit, the fruit is then juiced by machines from the Indelicato manufacturing company.

The juice is extracted from the insoluble solids (PULP), pasteurized and concentrated.

The juice concentrate is cooled and then poured into cooling chambers where it is stored in stainless steel tanks.

The production line has a capacity of processing 400.000 tn/24h citrus fruit and the cooling chambers have a storage capacity of 1.000.000 kg.

The juice is preserved in excellent and permanent quality in metal barrels of 250kg.
